The Basilica of San Marco is the greatest monument of the city, probably the building which best identifies Venice worldwide. The Basilica of San Marco is open to the public during the following hours: from 9:45 to 17.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00 on Sundays and public holidays. The visit inside the Basilica is free and can take up to 10 minutes.
