Treviso Canova Airport, also known by the name of Sant'Angelo, is just 10 minutes from the town center and 30 km from the international Marco Polo airport.
Born initially as a makeshift camp to meet the needs of the Aero Club of Treviso, in 1953 became, at the initiative of local authorities, civil airport, where it soon became a reference point for the nearby city of Venice.
After the opening of the airport of Tessera, in 1966 the airport of Treviso Canova becomes, thanks to close collaboration between Save and Aer Three, the secondary airport to Venice where they are diverted flights of major airlines and low cost charter of the international scene.
