The "Lions" of Benetton Rugby Treviso are ready for the new 2011/2012 season of RaboDirect PRO 12. After the season just passed, marked by good results, everything is ready for a fresh start in this competition that sees transnational federations involved in 12 teams from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and indeed this year, also Italy, represented by the Treviso team and the Aironi of Viadiana.
The tournament will start on the first weekend of September and will accompany us until May 26, 2012 date, when it will stage the grand final.
Benetton Rugby at the Stadium Monigo, will soon committed at the home debut against the Scarlets, Llanelli historical formation, one of the city's traditional rugby in Wales. A team that the Lions will also meet twice in the Heineken Cup and end their group against the formation of Edinburgh, finalist in the 2008/09 season.

The regular season will end May 6th, then there will be the Great Final on May 26th.

Stadio Monigo was built in 1973 and has always been home to Benetton Rugby. It lies few kilometers from the historical center of Treviso and can hold up to 6,700 fans, it also has 3 locker rooms, 2 bars, parkings, one newsroom and one press gallary.
