The "Lions" of the Benetton Rugby Treviso are one of the wonderful news of the forthcoming season  2010/2011 in the Magners Celtic League. The Celtic League is a competition on transnational level which involves  12 teams of federations like Ireland, Scotland, Wales and just from this year also Italy, represented by the team of Treviso and the Aironi team from Viadiana.

The tournament will start the first weekend of September and will accompany us until May 28th 2011 when there will be the great final match.

The Benetton Rugby, at the Monigo Stadium, will be immediately committed at the home debut against the Scarlets, historical formation of Llanelli, one of the traditional cities of rugby in Wales. The Scarlets is a team that the Lions will also meet twice in the Heineken Cup and will end their round against the formation of Edinburgh, finalist of the season 2008/09.

The regular season will end May 6th, then there will be the play-off with semi-finals on t May 14th and the Great Final on May 28th.

Stadio Monigo was built in 1973 and has always been home to Benetton Rugby. It lies few kilometers from the historical center of Treviso and can hold up to 6,700 fans, it also has 3 locker rooms, 2 bars, parkings, one newsroom and one press gallary.
