From Saturday 5 to Monday 7 June 2010 will be the scene at the Sports Centre "the Ghirada " 8th Edition of the Adidas Euro Camp. Also this year the event will stage the young athletes aged between 18 and 21 who will showcase their basketball skills in front of coaches, scouts and executives from all over the world.

Previously managed by Reebok, Eurocamp is the only NBA selection camp held outside U.S. territory, where in recent years have been some 47 athletes selected and currently are playing in the NBA or Euroleague. Some major European players who attended Eurocamp include Danilo Gallinari from the New York Knichs, Serge Ibaka Oklahoma City Thunder, Andrea Bargnani and Marco Belinelli of the Toronto Raptors only to name a few.

For the occasion will be plenty of media that follow the event amongst which NBA TV, ESPN and Sports Illustrated. Eurocamp has become an unmissable event for the NBA and European scouts.

Treviso together with the sports center Ghirada also called "sports city", will be for aspiring professional basketball players at a major international showcase where the show will certainly not be missed.

The Ghirada considered a "sports city" is located on the outskirts of Treviso in the nearby town of Silea. Built in 1985 by the Benetton Group is open to anyone willing to participate in sporting and recreational activities. The multi-purpose sports center The Ghirada covers an area of 22 hectares which houses 3 gyms, a track cross country, fitness center, three basketball courts and volleyball courts, a brand new beach volleyball area, a golf area, a pool and six fields rugby.
Therefore offers full service, open to all, easy to reach and is an ideal center for those who want a daily commitment to sport at any level.
